As an experienced retreat and strategic planning facilitator, merger and acquisition negotiator and partner performance coach, Adamson brings over 20 years of experience as managing partner of a top 200 accounting firm. Under his leadership the firm grew from a one office, 9-person firm to a multi-state, four-office regional powerhouse with over 120 team members. The growth included adding several non-accounting business units to the firm, including an M & A practice, employee benefits and financial services.

His managing partner accomplishments include completion of five CPA firm mergers, design and implementation of two new firm governance models, design and application of new partner compensation systems including introduction of performance based metrics, creation and leadership of partner goal setting and mentoring process, recent total revision of partner agreements including partner buyouts after peer survey, implementation of staff development process to address succession.
